Design Rationale Development

Any work that TransitGraphics develops for all our customers includes a large amount of previous experience and know-how as to what works and is easily understood.

As part of our reviews of customer information collateral including timetables, maps and guides, we produce design rationales to complement the new designs and to explain to customers and industry groups why the change has come about, what parts of the change meet relevant social needs as well as meeting the needs of visually impaired customers and those with other difficulties.

Our design rationale can then be used by key suppliers for the implementation of new brands and information styling.

To form our design rationales we can also perform or undertake stakeholder and passenger focus groups to gain valuable feedback to make information more personalised for each geographical area.
